By studying some of the world's master vodka distillers we thought would be without question the best path to take. Ane that is the path we chose to follow. For many years before deciding to present DAVID VODKA to the would we met with some of the most famous vodka distillers in the world.

The major vodka brands employ the genus of these men know as Master Vodka Distillers. Traditionally, Master Vodka Distillers have advanced to their peak position after life long apprenticeships. You don't become a master vodka distiller at ivy covered universities. These are very gifted people. They have toiled at apprenticeships at small and little recognized distilleries for long years developing their craft. Few make it to the top. It takes true dedication to develop their craft and their remarkable historic recipes. Recipes that are behind some of the most famous brands of vodka today, the pinnacle brand names know throughout the world.

We followed the history's of the Master Vodka Distillers of the five highest quality brands of vodka in the world today. Through the years we met and sat with many of these retired distillers. We learned about their backgrounds, their apprenticeships, and how they became masters. We learned many secrets. We took a little bit from each of the masters we studied.

There are many different recipes used in vodka brands today. Some use potatoes, some use grapes. Many top brands use rye and mixed grains including barley and corn. Of the five highest quality brands we found that the truly best tasting used nothing but the very highest quality grains. The purest water.

The knowledge learned became the cornerstone for creating DAVID VODKA. To make a truly crystal clear vodka, our recipe calls for DAVID VODKA to be made in small batches, using old-fashioned copper pot stills. DAVID VODKA is distilled four times. It is then gently filtered, three slow filtering through loose charcoal. This also makes DAVID VODKA naturally gluten-free. And most important, we taste-test every batch. We then allowed all DAVID VODKA to rest at least 24 hours before being packaged into our signature DAVID VODKA bottle. This resting gives DAVID VODKA unique the smoothness it is well known for. DAVID VODKA said by many to be the world's smoothest vodka.

As to our popular figurehead bottle. We needed a true international figurehead that would reflect the quality of vodka we wanted to bring to the world. We chose the work of the greatest master of all time. Michelangelo and his masterpiece, the statue of David as our figurehead.
